ACLA (IgA, IgG, IgM)

Blood Test Types

This lab test can be purchased without a physician and drawn at a Quest Diagnostics location. A small draw fee of $ 8 will be applied at checkout. There are no other "hidden" fees unless noted on the lab test.
Certain lab tests may come back in the "normal" range. Reference ranges do not always mean "optimal." Patients may still experience symptoms in the "normal" range. It is important to speak with a qualified health practitioner regarding normal vs optimal.
Currently, NY, NJ, and RI state laws prohibit direct-access testing. This lab test cannot be conducted at lab locations within these states at this time.

Cardiolipin Antibodies (IgA, IgG, IgM)

  • Cardiolipin Antibody (IgA)
  • Cardiolipin Antibody (IgG)
  • Cardiolipin Antibody (IgM)

Cardiolipin antibodies (CA) are seen in a subgroup of patients with autoimmune disorders, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), who are at risk for vascular thrombosis, thrombocytopenia, cerebral infarct and/or recurrent spontaneous abortion. Elevations of CA associated with increased risk have also been seen in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, and primary Sjögren's syndrome.
