I found Dr. Nitya Jessica Eisenheim and Cedar Rose Naturopathic during the summer of 2021 when I was seeking help for long-term GERD (1.5 yrs) and chronic Lyme Disease, as well as post-concussion syndrome and other chronic conditions. At that point in my life, I was nearing total hopelessness about ever recovering—and at 26-years-old, that was really frightening. Finding Dr. Nitya (through a google search!) and listening to her webinars on Lyme disease, its myriad effects, and its many treatment options, I decided to give recovery one more, all-in go.
30 minutes into talking with Dr. Nitya on the phone during our intake appointment, she had figured out the cause of my GERD (this was later confirmed by labs and testing). Within 4 months of treating all of my symptoms and conditions simultaneously through herbs, craniosacral therapy, dietary supplements, and dietary changes—and making tweaks as my overall health shifted—I became nearly reflux-free, regained mobility, substantially reduced inflammation in my body, and recovered my hope for the future.
It is really this newfound hope that has given me so much gratitude for Dr. Nitya and her work—her ability to get to the root of a problem in a way that makes one feel seen and safe. I know I have a ways to go before I feel confident about managing my other, multi-faceted conditions, but I feel totally heard and supported by Dr. Nitya—and most importantly correctly treated!—which has meant everything on this long journey back to health.
