Dr Ducharme is amazing she is so knowledgeable and caring. Her quest to for new cutting edge methods to help her patients is most impressive. I have been her patient for many years. My Lyme disease would have either crippled me or taken my life if I had not found Dr Ducharme. She is simply the best.

Dr. Nicola is a phenomenal doctor. Not only does she bring extensive knowledge and critical thinking to her practice, but she also offers compassionate care. I feel heard and supported in my medical appointments, and this means a lot to me, especially because it took so many years for me to obtain a diagnosis and find a doctor who could help me regain well-being after a long battle with invisible illness. Dr. Nicola is a leader in her space, and I love how she stays on top of emerging information and speaks at conferences. She is well-versed in herbs and naturopathic medicine in addition to allopathic practices, and is able to apply this knowledge based on what each patient needs. Her books are also great resources, and I recommend The Beginner’s Guide to Lyme Disease to friends all the time. She customizes treatment to each patient. This is important to me because of bioindividuality— the best treatment for one patient is not necessarily even the best approach for another patient with the same diagnosis! She is skilled in navigating complex conditions, and working with patients who may have previously been to countless previous doctors in search of effective solutions. I could not be more grateful for Dr. Nicola’s care. She is an amazing doctor, and she has played a pivotal role in my health journey.

My wife is getting excellent research-based care for Bartonella/Bartonellosis at this clinic. Dr. Nicola seems to be aware of the research and best practices for treating tick-borne infections. Highly recommended, it's been a blessing to find a doctor who can actually help my wife.

Dr. Nicola is FANTASTIC. I could probably write an essay on how amazing of a doctor she is, especially for Lyme Disease patients, but I'll save you all. She is caring, intelligent, wise, kind, compassionate, the list goes on. She has found solutions to so many symptom issues I have brought to her office and has been a caring guide through my Lyme journey. I can't recommend her enough!

In February 2019, my immune system went out of control causing what was a downward spiral of loss of use of legs and muscles, peripheral neuropathy and migrating muscle pain, and in general, all the nerves in my body going haywire. After 60 days on testing from my neurosurgeon; trips to rheumatology and various nerve conduction studies that show a progression of deadening nerves; 5 MIR’s; 2 Ultrasounds; and several x-rays; conventional medicine gave up. Luckily, I had a friend who had and continues to have chronic Lyme, she directed me IGeneX for a more comprehensive testing. Sure enough, I came back with exposure to Lyme and a co-infection Bartonella. Fortunately, my Lyme expert friend also knew of Dr. Marra, whom I went to see. Dr. Marra recognized my symptoms immediately without even looking at the IGeneX test results. She said I was a 7 out of 10, which was pretty bad. She started me on aggressive program of medications and within a few weeks the migrating pain and tingling all over my body was gone. It is now 8 months later and I’m still taking lots of meds, but my body has responded very well with strength and energy coming back to about 85%. It is a slower process that I would like but definitely have gotten better month by month. I can only say good things about Dr. Marra and more importantly is how much she knows about Lyme and its co-infectious diseases and how to treat them.

Dr. Afrooz is very caring and knowledgeable about treating lyme and mold toxicity. She is always available to answer questions and her staff will call you back the same day you leave questions. I feel very fortunate to have found her.
