Shockwave Therapy

What is Shockwave Therapy?

Shockwave Therapy is the use of high energy focused sound waves which break up adhesions and stimulate healing in various areas of damaged tissue including trigger points and joint arthritis.  It can be used as a single therapeutic or combined with other regenerative therapies such as PRP Injections, Cell Therapy injections, Prolozone Injections, High Intensity Laser, Gua Sha, Percussion Therapy, and PEMF.  We use both Radial and Focused Shockwave by Storz Medical to maximize results.

Treatment Details:

    • Treatment Frequency:  2-5 treatments every 2-4 weeks for most conditions to significantly improve
    • No restrictions on daily activities.  Soreness possible however immediate pain reduction most common.
    • Treatment time typically 10-15 minutes per area.
