Since 1998 Dr. Debra Muth has specialized in hormones and women’s health. In 2001 she decided to branch out and specialize in chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, food sensitivities, thyroid, chronic infections and heavy metals are just some of the areas that she looks at to get to the root of the symptoms a patient experiences. Dr. Muth is known as a medical detective, leaving no stone unturned she will help you find the answers you are seeking regarding your health.
She is at the leading edge of providers using natural supplements and bioidentical hormones to heal the body. Integrating these diverse therapies with allopathic Western Medicine has enabled Dr. Muth to offer a highly refined approach that produces lasting results.
She graduated as a nurse in 1995 went on to complete her degree as a nurse practitioner in 1998. Completed her doctorate in naturopathic medicine in 2001 and became a board certified anti-aging regenerative medicine specialist in 2003 and a master herbalist in 2011.
She worked for 6 years in traditional medicine as a women’s health nurse practitioner before joining an integrative medical practice in 2001. In 2011 she founded Serenity Health Care Center in Waukesha Wisconsin. Serenity is one of the Midwest’s foremost integrative clinics providing care for patients around the world offering cutting-edge protocols.
Dr. Muth has authored “The Dark Side of Injury” and The Essence of Health and Vitality – Your Guide to Healthy Living and was a contributing author to Audacious Aging. She has written over 150 lectures that she has provided throughout the United States to both professionals and patients. Topics range from hormones to detoxification and spiritual living. She has served as faculty to naturopathic students wishing to complete a residency. She has trained medical doctors and nurse practitioners whom chose to practice integrative medicine.
Over the years Dr. Muth has specialized in treating Lyme disease, toxic mold and chemical sensitivity and of course hormones; to date she has worked with over 5,000 patients from around the world. It is well documented that people who suffer from Lyme disease also suffer from Candida, allergies both food and seasonal allergies, heavy metals, high cholesterol and hormonal imbalances, recurrent pregnancy loss or infertility as well as adrenal fatigue to name just a few. With her background in treating these conditions, Dr. Muth has been able to create a successful comprehensive program in treating chronic disease.
